Tammie Prieto

Tammie Prieto, a seasoned real estate professional with nearly 20 years of experience, has left an indelible mark in the industry. Her journey includes being an agent in Florida and California before establishing herself as a prominent real estate agent in Georgia. In October 2022, she took a bold step by launching Genesis Real Estate School while serving at a mortgage firm where she worked closely with new construction builders and real estate brokerage firms. In August 2023, Tammie founded Silver Oaks Realty, LLC brokerage, showcasing her entrepreneurial spirit.

Currently serving as the broker of Silver Oaks Realty, Tammie actively contributes to the real estate community. She plays a vital role in shaping industry standards as a guest on the Georgia Association of Realtors forms committee and a member of the East Metro Board of Realtors education committee.

Tammie’s dedication extends to education, aiming to become an instructor with the Georgia Association of Realtors. She will soon instruct classes approved by the National Association of Realtors, including Accredited Buyer’s Representation (ABR) and Seller Representative Specialist (SRS) designation courses. Beyond her professional pursuits, Tammie lives by the motto, “Quit talking about it and do it; live life to the fullest.” True to this ethos, she embarked on international adventures, exploring Portugal and Spain in 2023.

In early 2024, another global expedition is on the horizon, shared with her accomplished daughters, Frances Abigail Prieto and Clara Isabel Mejia; both have followed in her footsteps as Realtors with Silver Oaks Realty. Tammie’s greatest accomplishment remains the gift of motherhood and the joy of sharing her passion for real estate with the next generation.

Sylvia Carnes

Sylvia Carnes, an associate broker with Silver Oaks Realty LLC, is a dedicated professional who has spent 38 years serving the real estate industry with an unwavering commitment to excellence. She specializes in assisting families, investors, builders, retail conversions to higher and better use, commercial and industrial properties, and land opportunities.

For over 20 years, she owned Carnes Real Estate Services Inc. in Butler, New Jersey, focusing primarily on commercial and land brokerage. Before that, she spent 10 years with Schlott Realtors and Weichert Realtors.

Originally from Georgia, Sylvia has lived in various regions of the United States, broadening her understanding of different real estate markets. After returning to Georgia in 2018, she brings her wealth of experience and human interaction skills to help people from all regions find or sell a property and achieve their desired outcomes.

Committed to lifelong learning, Sylvia’s education has been ongoing throughout her life, ensuring she stays abreast of the latest trends and developments in the real estate industry. Her educational accomplishments include studying business at Montclair State University, psychology at Ramapo College of New Jersey, Market Research for Real Estate Analysis and Appraisers, and Concentration in Investment Analysis- Feasibility Analysis of Real Estate Projects at New York University Real Estate Institute.

Outside of real estate, Sylvia enjoys woodworking, painting, and reading.

Porsha Erwin

Porsha Erwin is a Genesis Real Estate School instructor. She originally obtained her license in Florida in 2006, then in Georgia in 2007. Porsha has a wealth of knowledge in the real estate world that stems from her administrative operations and accounting background. She also has Master’s degrees in Public Administration and Human Resources Management.

Porsha is a Savannah native and lived in Metro Atlanta until her recent return to Savannah. Porsha has a servant’s heart and is a fearless leader.

Porsha is a devoted mother to her son, Lionel, and fur kid, Oso. She is also a member of several community service organizations, including Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. and Daughters of the Imperial Court.

Christy Leshok

Christy Leshok is a finance professional with 30 years of experience in various roles, from corporate international finance to small business accounting and tax preparation. She has a Bachelor of Accounting degree from the University of Phoenix and is working on her Master of Taxation. She will also become an Enrolled Agent in 2024.

After many years of working in corporate finance, she has found that her passion is assisting small business owners. As a small business owner, she understands the stress of bookkeeping and time management. Owners want to focus on growing their business and maximizing their profit potential rather than record keeping and tax prep. Whether you are a new entrepreneur or a seasoned business veteran, Christy prides herself on helping owners streamline their accounting processes.

Christy and Brion are raising two daughters. Hannah is a Sophomore at Mississippi State University studying Ag Leadership. Abby is a Sophomore at Morgan County High School and is an avid barrel racer. Brion is a Walton County firefighter and farmer. The family loves horses and living in rural Morgan County.

Jason McCart

Jason McCart practices in residential and commercial real estate transactions, estate planning and probate, and business entity formations. He is a “Double Dawg,” having received his B.B.A. degree in Management Information Systems in 1994 from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia and his J.D. degree in 1998 from the University of Georgia School of Law. He has been an active State Bar of Georgia member since 1998.

Jason was born and raised in Covington, Newton County, and has strong ties to the community. In his free time, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife, Celia, and his stepdaughters, Reilly and Chloe. Most Saturdays during the Fall, you will find Jason cheering on his Georgia Bulldogs.
